GED for Me! is a distance learning program designed for adult learners who wish to utilize the support of a tutor in an on-line environment to prepare to take the GED test. The program is best for adults who want or need to study from home. You won't need child care. You won't need transportation. No one needs to know that you don't have a high school diploma.

Each GED for Me! student is assigned to a tutor who works directly with the student via distance-learning to thoroughly prepare for the GED tests. The tutor will provide weekly encouragement via email to the student and will oversee the student's work in preparation for the tests. As part of the program of study, the GED for Me! student will watch a series of half-hour programs right on their computer. These programs, part of the "GED Connection" television series, along with workbook activities and other online assignments will successfully prepare the student for the GED tests. Once the GED for Me! student is sufficiently prepared, the student will be given an online practice test. Once the GED for Me! student passes the practice test, the student is provided with a voucher to pay for their GED tests at their local testing facility. The GED for Me! staff handles all the arrangements and scheduling for the student. All the student has to do is show up to take the tests and be prepared to pass!

The GED for Me! preparation course takes about five months to complete. Some people don't need to study that long and can request to be part of the GED for Me! "Fast Track" program. Students may always request a practice test if they think they are ready to take the GED tests early.

Tuition for the GED for Me! program for Pennsylvania residents is only $50. Payment is required in full at the time of enrollment.

GED for Me! is an award-winning online GED prepartion program. GED for Me! does not issue GED certificates or high school diplomas. The GED cannot be obtained online. The GED can only be obtained by successfully completing tests in the five subject areas in person at official test centers. The GED Tests are administered by the American Council of Education. GED for Me! students, who successfully pass their online practice test upon course completion are scheduled to take their GED Tests at an official testing center in their home community.
